Sustainability
CAP-Group’s responsibility is built on four key themes: traffic safety and freedom of mobility, accessibility, environmental responsibility, and high-quality, responsible service. We continuously develop our services to support sustainable development and meet the needs of a changing society.
High-quality and responsible service
We focus on the pedagogical quality of our services, the use of technology, and the customer experience. We are developing our sustainability reporting as part of the CSRD initiative and integrating ESG reporting into financial reporting. This enables transparent monitoring and continuous improvement of our actions. We train our key personnel in responsible business practices and ESG principles to ensure that sustainability is genuinely reflected in our daily operations – not just in words, but in actions.
Traffic safety and freedom of mobility
Traffic safety is at the core of everything we do. We reduce traffic risks by offering top-tier training that combines modern pedagogy, driving simulators, and expert instructors. Our goal is to ensure that every learner – regardless of background – is equipped to move safely, responsibly, and independently.
For us, traffic safety is a shared responsibility across society. That’s why we also promote cybersecurity by providing training for personnel and developing our information security maturity level – ensuring that our customers’ data and digital learning environments are protected. Our commitment to safety extends from the road to the digital world.
Accessibility
We want to ensure that high-quality driver education is accessible to everyone – regardless of location or life situation. We offer remote instruction and mobile services that bring learning closer to the customer. This improves accessibility and lowers the threshold for learning.
Our goal is to continuously develop technological solutions that support the needs of diverse learners and enable flexible, multi-channel studying. At the same time, we ensure that our educational content and learning environments remain safe, accessible, and user-friendly for all.
Environmental responsibility
CAP-Group utilizes driving simulators and remote instruction in all its units in Finland and Germany. These solutions reduce emissions related to training and support environmentally sustainable learning. We have initiated the calculation of our company’s carbon footprint and are setting emission reduction targets as part of our sustainability program. In addition, we are transitioning to carbon-neutral energy and implementing energy efficiency measures in our offices.
Simulators provide an eco-friendly way to practice driving without fuel consumption, and remote instruction reduces physical travel. In this way, we are building next-generation training solutions that benefit both learners and the environment — while also supporting CAP-Group’s journey toward carbon neutrality and a sustainable future.
Our driving simulators already replace over two million kilometers of on-road driving per year. This corresponds to approximately 300 tons of CO2 emission reductions annually. Our ecological efficiency continues to grow as our vehicle fleet becomes increasingly electrified.
